Hi purachina , the ph is a bit high but if its steady at this then its ok. I wouls suggest scrapng a fish or 2 to see if there is any sign ofparasites. Are the fish flicking at all? Also what are ammonia , nitrite and nitrate readings?

Thanks mark

Hi,more than likely parasites, as Mark says you need to do some scrapes and check them out under a microscope. Any new additions to your pond?

as with other replies it could be parasites but also check that you have enough air going into the pond as it could be lack of oxygen especially as its only happening at night
